Dr. Safa Rubaye, MD, MBChB, is a highly accomplished psychiatrist with extensive experience in patient care, medical education, and research, particularly in the areas of traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and neuropsychiatric care.

Dr. Rubaye completed his Bachelor of Medicine and General Surgery (MBChB) at Al-Nahrain University in Baghdad. He later moved to the United States, where he furthered his education and training in psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Currently, Dr. Rubaye is the founder and psychiatrist at HealoVerse Medical, where he pioneers the integration of cutting-edge technology in psychiatric care. He has developed a novel treatment protocol that combines ketamine therapy with virtual reality to enhance patient outcomes. He also serves as a training site supervisor and faculty member at the Texas Institute of Graduate Medical Education and Training (TIGMER) Psychiatry Residency Program, University of the Incarnate Word. Also, he is the founder of Mendala PolyTrauma Clinic that is specialized in treating patients with traumatic brain injury.
